Carlos del Junco's award winning harmonica playing is said to be like blowing the blues harp through a prism; suddenly it seems he's holding every colour in the musical rainbow right there in his hands. Carlos' many awards include two Gold Medals from the Hohner World Harmonica Championship in Trossingen, Germany, multi JUNO Award nominations and seven-time winner of Canadian Maple Blues Award for best Harmonica Player of the Year. Simultaneously sophisticated and raw, his playing blurs the boundaries between blues and jazz. To say "he plays the harmonica" is like saying "Jimi Hendrix plays guitar." A not-to-miss show!
