Coastal City Ballet
Ballet Productions Canada Society Presents: Vancouver's newest ballet company, Coastal City Ballet takes to the stage with an inaugural evening of classics and new works.
The technical artistry and remarkable athleticism of the vibrant, young coumpany will include excerpts from the Spanish brilliance of Petipa's Paquita, Rachmaninov's Three Preludes choreographed by former Houston Ballet Artistic Director Ben Stevenson, coupled with new works from Charlene Hart, Farley Johansson and Coastal City Ballet Artistic Director, Li Yaming.
The program marks the Lower Mainland's first opportunity to experience this exciting, young company, whose members come to Vancouver from as far away as Brazil, China and Japan.
