Original musicial script, “Andora’s Knot: the untold story of the Squiddles”
Andora’s Knot is an original musical script about a group of interesting creatures that love to have fun, and their interaction with something they’ve never seen before . . . humans!
The script has music from varying genres and is a comedy suitable for all ages. Students will be introduced to the interplaying characters including the Squiddles, the Beetle Brigade, the humans and the Gnomes.
Working with Producer Rayne Beveridge in this 5 month-long program students will receive professional training in stage, vocal, dramatic and performance technique. They will be trained in vocal warm-ups and exercises, choreography and performance preparation. Through theatre sports and music games, they will learn how to overcome challenging goals, and most of all they will experience the thrill of being part of live performance!
Auditions for the different roles will be held, and information on their requirements will be given out in February. All class participants can audition for solo roles, but all will play a character on stage in the final production.
