Featuring six of the best local musical theatre performers Vancouver has to offer, this dynamic studio show also includes informative, entertaining, and nostalgic commentary along with piano accompaniment.
This musical revue highlights favourite tunes from shows like Godspell, Grease and Follies and turns back the clock to include a number or rare, shelved and often forgotten works including numbers by the composers of Chicago and Gypsy. There was a lot happening in 1971. It was the year of the Microprocessor, hand-held calculators, Sonny and Cher's Comedy Hour.
The film Love Story premiered, Simon & Garfunkel won a Grammy for Bridge Over Troubled Waters, plus 1971 was the inaugural year of the Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Arts Council!
