The Human Statues and the Good Lovelies

Jeff Bryant and Zach Stevenson comprise folk/pop duo The Human Statues. Originally from Vancouver Island, these young men are on a mission to spread "jubilation" across the nation. Often described as a cross-breed between the Flight of the Conchords and Simon and Garfunkel, Jeff and Zach, also the stars of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, blend an energetic pop sensibility with lyrical depth and love of vocal harmony.
Funny and upbeat with just a pinch of sass, The Good Lovelies provide textbook three-part harmonies, constant instrument swapping and witty on-stage banter that enlivened audiences at each performance. This JUNO-award winning Canadian folk trio have appeared on stages and in studios with Broken Social Scene, Kathleen Edwards and Jill Barber.
