Artists Vision:
To help create a model of collaborative art that engages, challenges and mobilizes the citizens of Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. To help raise awareness of social issues through education, community networking and multi-disciplinary performance. To explore in a theatrical way events and people who have shaped this community and celebrate its future within a context of a shared vision.
Artist's Update:

In keeping with the spirit of creative collaboration I've accepted the invitation to work with the dynamic local community theatre group The Emerald Pig Theatrical Society on their BC Drama Zone Festival Entry, A Life in the Theatre by David Mamet. Directed by Cathie Young. Produced by Sharon Malone and Kathleen Hatley. Starring Chris Cope as 'John' and myself in the other lead role as 'Robert.'
“Robert and John, two actors in a local repertory company, portray many characters on stage, but behind the scenes they reveal their true nature and all too recognizable human frailties. Driving the action with the rhythm of his trademark language, Mamet examines the human need for love, friendship, respect and a meaningful life.”
I am excited and eager to get back on stage again and look forward to seeing you at one of the shows.
We will be playing four shows only at the ACT before stops in Vancouver and Chilliwack. I hope you will join for an evening here of excellent theatre.

This production is directed by Helene Maisonneuve. Choreography is by Kaye Andruschak with musical accompaniment by Don Stephen.
