Contemporary Collage with Brena Maag
1.5 hour Workshop for Grade K+
1.5 or 3 hour Workshop for Grade 4+
Students will learn how to look at their world in a way that isolates different shapes and patterns by using a cardboard viewfineder and foudn images. Inspired by this visual research and a brief look at composition and colour, students will embark on their own collage journey to create a piece of art using the collage techniques of cutting, tearing, pasting and layering paper and other objects.
