The Maple Ridge Art Gallery invites visual artists, guest curator’s and community art groups to submit proposals for the Main Gallery, Passagio or Galleria. Work in all media, from individuals and groups will be accepted.

Please include in submission package:

• Individual artists please include curriculum vitae
• Artists groups please include history of group and information on past exhibits
• Outline of proposed exhibit with reference to influences and/or subject matter and an artist or group statement
• 6 to 10 quality jpeg images; labeled with title, media, and size of work
• $20.00 administrative fee (non refundable) and payable to the Maple Ridge Art Gallery

Your submission will be juried based on the following criteria:

• Design; use of color, texture, pattern and/or form
• Originality; historical, contemporary, traditional references and/or uniqueness of work

• Presentation; consideration to details and/or consideration of use (functional/non-functional)
• Technique; skill level with materials and/or tools used
• Clarity of Concept; suitability of work in relation to the outlined proposal
