The Maple Ridge Art Gallery is pleased to present Sea to Sky, an exhibition of art work by Garibaldi Art Club members. Over eighty members from the group will submit art work to be juried by professional working artists and the Curator of the Maple Ridge Art Gallery. Members are juried based on skill, creativity and interpretation of the theme, Sea to Sky. A placing of first, second and third will be awarded. Visitors to the Gallery will also have an opportunity to voice their opinion by voting in the visitor’s choice award.

 

The exhibit Sea to Sky was interpreted and explored individually through style and medium. Visitors to the Maple Ridge Art Gallery will be able to enjoy representations of Sea to Sky in different mediums, such as oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, pencil and mixed media and different styles such as realism, impressionism and abstraction.

 

The Garibaldi Art Club is a non profit community group committed to the development of their members and provides opportunities for its members to develop through scheduled workshops and lectures. In addition, the group organizes annual exhibitions as an opportunity to show case and sell art work.
