The Educational Arts Program offered by the Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Arts Council gives teachers in School District 42 the opportunity to bring professional artists into the classroom.  Students participate in the arts while learning from a working artist.

 

Pottery workshops and the Maple Ridge Art Gallery tour and workshop are held at The ACT.  All other programs are held at your school.

 

To book a program contact Maureen McGonigal at 604-476-2789 or email maureenm@mract.org  Please indicate the program you would like to take, weekday and time you would like the program and the number of students as well as your contact information. 

 

Once you contact Maureen with your request arrangements will be made with the artist.  A confirmation will be sent to you by email or fax and an invoice will be sent to your school.

 

Programs are $55/hr + $25 supply fee (supply fee is not charged for Drama, Dance or Marimba Musica)

$45 fee is charged for cancellation with less than 14 days notice

Maximum Class Sizes:  Grade K - 3, 25 students max

                                    Grade 4 - 12, 30 students max
