The ACT Art Gallery Presents

Life Drawing in the Gallery

January 23, January 30, and February 6, 2018
7 pm until 9 pm

The ACT Art Gallery is offering a unique guided approach to figure drawing during Roger Luko’s exhibition LINE PAINT CLAY. In this three-week introductory course, students will initially work from Roger Luko’s figurative sculpture to study, appreciate and practice the art of life drawing. In the last class students will draw from an undraped live model.
Study will include areas such as lines of gravitational force, tension and stretch, hard and soft anatomical structure, visual rhythm, pose dynamics and expressive mark making.

This class is excellent preparation for our drop-in figurative drawing sessions organized by Roger Luko and Sharon Axford.
