The ACT is the home for culture and live entertainment in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. We are a non-profit public resource serving the artistic and cultural needs of the diverse audiences in our community. The ACT offers a wide range of activities throughout the year including live music, theatre and comedy to classes, workshops and events. The ACT also houses the Maple Ridge Art Gallery, presenting the best of visual arts in our community.

In Downtown Maple Ridge at the head of Haney Place The ACT looks over the Memorial Peace Park in a beautiful natural setting.
Our expansive lobby surrounded by glass creates a cosmopolitan introduction to our performances, an urban experience in our own small town.
The ACT's 500 seat main stage theatre offers great site-lines from every angle, comfortable seats wonderful sound and an intimate ambience.
The Genstar Studio Theatre at The ACT is a versatile "black-box theatre" space that is great not only for performances but also for events such as wedding receptions, dinners and meetings

The Arts Council operates and manages The ACT through a grant with the Ridge Meadows Parks and Leisure Services Commission. The Arts Council promotes and supports all disciplines of the arts and is committed to fulfilling their motto of "Bringing Arts to the Heart of Our Community". more info...
